Different kinds of tungsten steel for a model chisel makes a huge difference in the results.
We team spent almost a year testing various tungsten steels and
finally found one that is amazing in terms of hardness, toughness and durability.
It is the tungsten steel that is exactly made for model scribing!
A long, thin knife shape with minimal taper.
Such a blade shape is very demanding
in terms of materials and workmanship,
resulting in a very high cost,
but it gives the Beacon blade
both toughness and good strength,
making it very accessible to both model beginners and veterans.

Toughness is very important for chisels with sizes below 0.2,
as it gives the chisel a very fine feedback of strength,

After designing small facets on the underside of the blade
and prototyping nearly a hundred cutter angles for the blade,

The front of Beacon's blade is as glossy as a mirror

Various types of plating can make the surface of the blade a little smoother,
but the edges will be rounded and less sharp,
and limit the effect of the groove burrs.

Instructions
Use Less Force!
Scribe with little force and control the angle of the chisel
to the surface of the part from 65° to 80°.
The plastic is discharged coherently
and almost noiselessly when lining and scribing.
Model Window Adjustment Method
1. Loosen the handle counterclockwise.
2. Adjust the direction of the cutter head and the viewing area.
Center the model number.
3. Tighten the handle after adjustment.
Accessories
The product comes with two waterproof size number stickers,
one colored and one white,
that can be attached to the end of the chisel
to further help modelers identify the size.

1.ORDER CANCELLATION
To cancel a placed order, please contact us at service@raystudio.com before the order ships. Submitting a cancellation request before the order ships does not guarantee a successful cancellation. Customers will receive an email confirmation if the order is successfully cancelled.
We cannot cancel an order after it has been shipped. Please wait for your order to be shipped and contact us within 7 days of receipt for a return. Declining a shipped order or failing to follow the return procedure may result in the item being lost in transit or rejected by the warehouse due to lack of return registration, which may result in ineligibility for a refund or replacement.
2. RETURN & EXCHANGE
If you are not completely satisfied with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 7 days of receiving your order.
If the return is caused by the consumer, the consumer should be responsible for the shipping fee. The specific fee should be based on the express company you choose.
If due to our reasons, the goods received are damaged or not correct, the consumer have to show, via photos or video, the defect in your product, and the associated defect is eligible for coverage.
To be eligible for returns,
- Products must be in their unused condition with the original packing and unopened. We do not accept a returned item that has been worn, used, damaged, or altered in any way.
- We do not accept returned items that have been sent back without proper return requests.
- We do not offer Freight To Collect (FTC) service for the packages returned to us. The returns will be made at your own cost.
- Once the returned merchandise is received your money will be refunded back to you. RAYSTUDIO cannot refund, reimburse, cover, or otherwise be responsible for any fees not paid to RAYSTUDIO. This includes any customs taxes or VAT as well as any return shipping costs you may incur in the refund process. Refunds are issued back to the original form of payment used to purchase the order. Once your refund is issued, you will receive a confirmation email.
- Note: The original shipping fee and Shipping Guarantee are non-refundable.
- Damaged items caused by human factors.

You have up to 7 days to start your return from the moment you receive the item. Please include the original packaging with your return.
Items from different orders cannot be returned within the same package.
